About Mikael Araújo

Mikael Araújo is a marketing and SEO consultant, offering his services through his own company. Previously, he worked via digital platforms such as Upwork. He advises startups, multinational companies, and media groups, including: StarOfService, GetNinjas, Alana.ai (defunct), Grupo de Comunicação O POVO, BeInCrypto, CoinGape Media, among others.

He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Vale do Acaraú State University (UVA) and also an MBA in Data Science from the University of São Paulo (USP/ICMC).

In 2022, he participated in the mentorship program offered by FCDC - The Freelance Coalition for Developing Countries , being mentored in technical SEO by Jamie Indigo. In the same year, he was also mentored by Aleyda Solis . In 2026, he was mentored by Eva Mermingi in the same program.

 

In 2024, he participated as a guest on the Good Signals SEO Office Hours and SEO Game Show podcasts. That same year, he was named by Niara as one of the 40 SEO professionals to follow in 2024. He also participated in the compilation of SEO tips promoted by Summer Of SEO and contributed as a co-author to the SEO chapter of the Web Almanac 2024 .

 

In 2025, he was once again named by Niara as one of the "40 SEO Professionals to Watch in 2025". In 2026, he published his first international article on the Sitebulb blog entitled " Beyond Cosine Similarity: Testing Advanced Algorithms for SEO Content Analysis ". A case study was also published on Search Engine Land and on the NextNews website (formerly "Não é Agência"). In July, he published the well-received article for Moz entitled "The 'TikTokification' of Search: Why the Creator Model Is Replacing the Ranking Model" .
